Become A Patient

Residency

Forefront Therapy has a working collaboration with the Arcadia University Orthopaedic Residency in Physical Therapy. This year-long accredited post-doctoral specialization program increases clinician expertise, critical thinking, patient management skills, and more. Once completed, the individual may sit for the orthopedic specialization examination offered by the American Physical Therapy Association's Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Arcadia University will be responsible for providing the clinician resident learning didactic modules in a hybrid model with both online and onsite learning opportunities.

Forefront Therapy's Orthopedic Specialists, Dr. Ryan Wood, Dr. Brian Grant, and Dr. Sara Aucoin, will provide direct onsite mentorship throughout the year with patient interactions, lab components, and guidance with opportunities for research, community lecture, and other unique experiences. Our elite residency has specialized training in our internationally renowned Hypermobility program as well as in our regionally unique and specialized Abdominal Pain program. We have an extremely diverse caseload with a wide spectrum of sports and orthopedic conditions.  Forefront's residency offers all one-on-one care with no overlapping of patients and proudly serves with continuity of care models.  We emphasize quality of life with 37 hours per week clinically (4-6 hours per week of mentorship built into this allotment) and 3 hours set aside for didactic work. Unique to this residency is a steady stream of high case complexity and expertise that comes to the Forefront team. We also offer a unique environment with orthopedic clinical and administrative experiences in For-Profit, Nonprofit, and Pediatric (if desired) settings.
